Claire wanted to draw a blue bird and asked me how. I'm not an artist, so instead I pulled out my phone and let her look through images to copy. I was so surprised when she came back with these!
Blake and I are not artists. But her "Papa" (Keoki) is a graphic designer. And she loves to watch my cousin Amanda draw comic book characters. Nature and nurture right there.
I was telling this story to some friends at dinner last night and saying how close the drawings were to the originals. Claire overheard and corrected me: "They were exactly the same, Mom."
